We welcome three new volunteers

Every year we get volunteers to assist us in assessing our Leadership Clubs Programme. They travel to all our schools to conduct interviews with the learners and teachers. This year we have two German and one local volunteer.

Day of Action

Since the start of the third school term, the Project 90 Leadership Clubs have been gearing up to host a Day of Action in their school communities. The Day of Action is an opportunity for learners, with the support of their mentors, to take initiative to inspire and mobilise their school communities around a particular environmental theme.

New project to improve schools’ water and energy access

Mikhail Grant, a volunteer from the USA joined our Community Partnership Programme on a site visit in Kwa Zulu Natal. Project 90 is about to launch two new projects which will combine the work of our Community Partnership Programme with our Leadership Clubs Programme. We have selected two of our Leadership Cubs schools to improve their electricity and water access. The CPP team set out to rural Kwa-Zulu Natal to assess the energy and water situation of the two schools.
