Transforming our local community

At Project 90, we work with many communities all around South Africa, and so we decided that it would be good to work in our own community too! We hosted an informative session for the local residents in Harfield Village, where our office is based. We discussed how the energy crisis is affecting our local communities and presented some of the practical solutions available.

We welcome three new volunteers

Every year we get volunteers to assist us in assessing our Leadership Clubs Programme. They travel to all our schools to conduct interviews with the learners and teachers. This year we have two German and one local volunteer.

Day of Action

Since the start of the third school term, the Project 90 Leadership Clubs have been gearing up to host a Day of Action in their school communities. The Day of Action is an opportunity for learners, with the support of their mentors, to take initiative to inspire and mobilise their school communities around a particular environmental theme.
