On Saturday 17th April students from the South Peninsula Project 90 Club took part in an Environmental Day of Service at the Kenilworth Race Course conservation area. Armed with cutters, and heavy duty tree pulling devices, Brandon, Kimico and Nadine took part to help clear the invasive Port Jackson plant to make way for indigenous fynbos vegetation. Not only was it an outstanding day of service but a great way for learners to meet others with similar interests and concerns. In total there were 30 learners from 7 different schools. The next environmental service day will take place on 8th May at the Kenilworth Race Course Conservation Area.
