Our You-Lead Collective now boasts 50 young enthusiastic members from all around South Africa. They are creating partnerships with other like-minded organisations and creating a united voice of the youth from the Global South.
At Project 90, we work with many communities all around South Africa, and so we decided that it would be good to work in our own community too! We hosted an informative session for the local residents in Harfield Village, where our office is based. We discussed how the energy crisis is affecting our local communities and presented some of the practical solutions available.
Every year we get volunteers to assist us in assessing our Leadership Clubs Programme. They travel to all our schools to conduct interviews with the learners and teachers. This year we have two German and one local volunteer.
