Project 90 was a finalist in the 2014 Enviropaedia Eco-Logic Award in the Eco-Communities category for our engagement in the community of Msobomvu to improve the community’s energy, water and food security and the community-led sustainable initiatives.

Project 90 was runner up in the 2013 Eskom eta awards in the community category for our work in the community of Msobomvu, which focused on addressing the cooking and lighting needs of the community with renewable energy and energy efficient solutions that community members could manage themselves.

Project 90 won the “Most Inventive Rural Electrification Project Award” at the 2013 Africa Energy Awards for our innovative, participatory developmental initiative in the rural community of Msobomvu.
